SPEAK THE WORD

Pastor Taiwo @ Sunday Service

The Word of God is potent and a vital tool in the Kingdom. Believers should therefore not joke with it but keep on growing in it and reflecting God in their lifestyles. These were the words of Pastor Taiwo at the October 27 Sunday services. “You cannot be a Christian and handle the Word of God with levity,” he said.

Speaking from Mark 4: 26-41 and John 14:10, he said that the Word of God is a seed that, when planted in a fertile soil (heart), would grow exceedingly, adding that this seed can be sowed in any area of the believer’s life. According to him, the cares of this world, sin, and other distracting variables can root out the seed of the Word of God from believers’ hearts if they are not watchful.

He added that the miraculous happen when believers boldly speak God’s Word over anything and everything that concerns their lives, stating that the benefits of speaking His Word over one’s life are indescribable. “Just speak the Word and see the miraculous happen,” he enjoined.

“WALKING WORTHY OF THE LORD”

Pastor Taiwo @ Thursday Showers

Pastor Taiwo stated at the October 24 Thursday Showers service that God’s grace is always sufficient for His children, noting that even when we are tempted to think He cannot solve a problem, His grace would still outlive the problem. “It might look like an ordinary day for you, but your giant stride begins today,” he said.

Drawing from Luke 18:1, Matthew 6:25 and Colossians 1:9, he explained that the antidote to losing heart is prayer, noting that our success cannot be defined except as Christ is formed in us. “Men always ought to pray and not lose heart. If all you are seeking God, His Kingdom and righteousness, you will always overcome the trials and obstacles on your path,” he stated.

He then encouraged all to always be obedient to God and the Holy Spirit would continually infuse them with knowledge. “There is no way you will be in the presence of God and not have fullness of joy,” he added.
