PASTOR NOMTHI’S WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT @SUNDAY SERVICE

Poverty is demonic and very bad. This is why Jesus Christ became poor that we might be rich in Him and enjoy our lives. Pastor Nomthi said this at the October7 Sunday service while admonishing the congregation from 2 Corinthians 8:9, which is the promise for the week. “We are not meant to be poor in any way, whether spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically or financially. Let the devil know that you are rich,” she said.
According to Pastor Nomthi, lack of understanding of this great work of Christ would make any believer to doubt his or her wealth in life. “A person who doesn’t know he is blessed will always feel he is poor. Understand that Jesus faced shame and rejection so that you may be accepted and be rich,” she stated.
She encouraged everyone to always have at the back of their minds that they are rich and be thankful. “Stop complaining as though God hasn’t done anything for you. You need to have a grateful heart and be always thankful to God,” she said.
