NEW CREATION REALITIES

Pastor Tola Odutola @ Sunday First Service

The annual weeklong Word Explosion Conference started on a powerful note on Sunday April 14 with Pastor Tola Odutola of Jesus House Baltimore, USA.

In his message, Pastor Odutola told the congregation that the greatest experience anyone could have in life is the knowledge and acceptance of the death of Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary. Anyone, according to him, who receives this gift of salvation has entered into a covenant with God and has become a new creation.

Speaking from 2 Corinthians 5:12-17, Romans 5:7-9, 1 Peter 2:1-3, Ephesians 2:8-10 and Hebrews 11:3-6, Pastor Odutola noted that the realities of this covenant comes with the renewal of mind and spirit, grace which enables them accomplish things through God’s ability, faith which brings understanding in spiritual matters, freedom and heritage as well as glory which distinguishes them from the world.

He then encouraged them to always have the consciousness of the realities of their covenant with God. “No matter what you are going through, after a while, the door of life will open unto you because there is glory ahead of you,” he said.

“PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS”

Apostle Bobby Hogan @ Sunday Second Service

Apostle Bobby Hogan, Senior Pastor of Christ For The World, ministered at the second service which was also the second session of Word Explosion 2019. His session was laden with prophetic declarations, using the words of Job (in Job 14:14) and his restoration as points of reference.

Apostle Hogan declared that this is a season of restoration and all that God’s children have lost is coming back to them in double measure as stated in Isaiah 61:7, noting that “some things are taught, while others are caught”.

Using the account of the man who was healed at the pool of Bethesda (in John 15:1-15) as an illustration, Apostle Hogan said that faith is required to experience the realities of the covenant. “Faith makes you crazy for a little while, but on the other side of your wait is a blessing,” he said.

He concluded his session with more prophetic declarations, saying that whatever was hindering their breakthroughs would happen no more and that there would be no more hindrances or delays in their lives.

“RESTORATION”

Pastor Taiwo Odukoya @ Thursday Showers

Speaking from Psalm 88:37, Isaiah 42:22 and Joel 2:25-27, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya told the worshippers at the April 11 Thursday Showers service to take the limit off God so that they can receive their restoration. According to him, believers should never be afraid of what man or the devil can do so much that they forget what God can do. “Anything the devil has stolen can be restored. You just need to guard your joy so that it’s not stolen by the devil. Don’t let the devil take your focus away from what God wants to do in your life,” he said.

He stated that believers must always understand that God is too faithful to lie. This, he said, would reflect in their continuous confession and declaration of the word of God over their situations. “You need to know that God is a covenant restorer. Don’t make the mistake of compromising what you have with Him. Your role is to keep confessing and declaring His word over your life and watch Him glorify Himself,” he noted.

He then urged them to always see themselves as victorious in all aspects of life. “You need to trust Him for your joy, love, relationship, favour, wisdom and the right heart. You stop to be ordinary from today in Jesus name,” he stated.
