GRACE FOR EXPLOITS

Pastor Taiwo @Sunday service
Starting his sermon with the declaration of total restoration from the effects of Covid-19, Pastor Taiwo, at the October 11 Sunday service, said that believers should always look unto Jesus, the Author and Finisher of their faith, who is able to deliver them from the agenda of the devil which is to steal, kill and destroy.
Speaking from 2 Corinthians 12:7-10, and 2 Corinthians 11:1-5 &16, Pastor noted that depending on God for the grace for exploits allows believers stand firm rather than depending on the powers of detractors which could eventually pull them down.
He charged the worshippers to be careful for nothing, with an addition that in a troubled situation, they are not permitted to do any other thing than to pray, praise, and give thanks. “Don’t grumble, murmur or become the labour leader in your home or place of work. No matter what is happening in your home, don’t use your hands to pull down what God has built through you, otherwise, it will be a long time regret,” he said.
The senior pastor encouraged members to always depend on the grace of God which he described as the finisher, just as he posited that they should boast in their weakness and that they should not do what unbelievers are in involved in. “Emulate Jesus and do what He asks you to do. Boast in your infirmities that the power of God may rest upon you,” he noted.
He finally enjoined members never to allow anything or one distract them from fulfilling their purpose as this can truncate the future God has for them. “Don’t agree with the devil over any situation. Rise up, hear the word of God and face the journey. Don’t truncate your journey by being prideful. The grace of God is enough to empower you to finish well.”

YOU WILL DO GREAT EXPLOITS
Pastor Taiwo @ Thursday showers
As a child of God, you should always come before your Father with the fruits of your lips, which is praise. If human beings or problems could intimidate you in the presence of your God, so much that you can’t praise Him anymore, they are your gods. These were the words of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya during the October 8, 2020 Thursday Showers.
Speaking from Daniel 11:32, Pastor Taiwo noted that flattering will be the reason and the methodology the devil will use to sweep people away in this end time. According to him, the devil will not be able to corrupt anyone except to the extent to which he is able to flatter such; noting that people would become boasters and proud because the devil will be flattering them, thereby getting seduced to forget where God had picked them from. “But the people who know their God shall be strong and do great exploits,” he said.
Pastor further quoted 2 Chronicles 20 to explain that genuine believers who know their covenant right in God, will resist the devil, overcome him and prosper. This, he said, would be made possible by having an intimate relationship with God via the Word and fellowshipping with Him. He said, “If you don’t pray, you will sink. Men always ought to pray and not faint.”
He also stressed the need to always return all the glory to the Lord and to always be careful not be an agent of distraction to others. “When things become too good, don’t be too big in your own eyes. Your exploits are not measured by another person’s exploit. Great exploits are measured by God in your assignment in life,” he noted.
