GOD CAN BE TRUSTED – Pastor Jimmy Odukoya Declares During Special Birthday Worship Session

April 26 Sunday service took a special turn as the whole church came together to celebrate the birthday of the Senior Pastor, Jimmy Odukoya. Although his birthday falls on Monday, April 27th, it was joyfully celebrated during the Sunday service, creating a beautiful atmosphere of appreciation across the entire Fountain of Life family. The celebration began with a heartfelt birthday song led by the Associate Senior Pastor, Toluwani Odukoya, and then a presentation by the Teens Department, followed by another from the pastors, setting the tone for a day filled with honour, gratitude, and love.

Pastor Jimmy, in response, noted that God is faithful and can be trusted irrespective of the circumstances in which believers find themselves. He led the congregation in a heartfelt worship and prayer session, creating an atmosphere saturated with God’s presence. The service was not just a celebration of a birthday, but also a reflection on God’s faithfulness towards the Fountain of Life Church. Being the last Sunday of the month, the service concluded with baby dedications, adding another beautiful layer of celebration to the day.

Earlier in the service, Pastor Toluwani Odukoya shared the promise of the week from Zechariah 10:1, encouraging the congregation to recognise God as the source of provision, blessing, and sustenance. She reminded them of the importance of asking God intentionally, understanding what they are asking for and discerning the right season to ask. She also noted that alignment with His timing is key, adding that, “before you ask for rain, ensure that there is a seed in the ground.”
