WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT FROM PASTOR NOMTHI ODUKOYA – MARCH 3 – 9, 2019

While admonishing the congregation at the March 3 Sunday service from Deuteronomy 28:4 which is the promise for the week, Pastor Nomthi said that God’s blessings come in different forms to believers. According to her, such blessings which include children, wealth, job or material things bring about increase in all that concerns them.

She however admonished them not to abuse God’s blessings so as not to lose them. In her words, “You have been blessed to bless others, and there are responsibilities and challenges attached to being blessed. So you need to be aware and handle such blessings very well so as not to lose them. You will not lose your blessings in Jesus name.”

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT FROM PASTOR NOMTHI ODUKOYA

Faith is key to answered prayers. Praying in fear will yield no result no matter how long that prayer takes. These were the words of Pastor Nomthi Odukoya while admonishing the worshippers at the February 28 Thursday Showers service. “If you are praying and you don’t get answers, you need to check the level of your faith,” she stated.

Speaking from Proverbs 3:5-8, she noted that having trust in God gives strength and hope to believers. According to her, the Word of God is every believer’s prize ticket which would always produce results if only they can hold on to it. “You need to take the Word of God seriously because it is a winning ticket to be claimed; do not ever doubt that the Word of God will work for you. With God, you can win every day,” she said.

She then urged them to always trust God, because He loves it when His children trust Him and He derives pleasure in answering them. “If you need strength and hope, you need to trust in the Lord with all your heart,” she stated.
