Pastor Toluwani Odukoya @ Sunday Service

Speaking from Acts 3:1-8, Pastor Toluwani, during her ministration at the October 5 Sunday service, said that believers don’t grasp the essence of the power of the Holy Spirit because they don’t know what they carry.

According to her, believers need to know who they are and what they carry so as to enjoy the miraculous. “Some of us have not experienced our miracles because we have not set a demand on what we are carrying. You can carry the presence of God, but might not necessarily feel the power,” she said.

She also mentioned from Acts 1:8 that believers’ lives should be a walking testimony of the glory of God, showing the power of God. She further noted that just knowing about God is not sufficient for believers to achieve the miraculous; they need to know God. They need to know that they are armed with power, and the knowledge that will help them to live a fulfilled life.

She urged them to understand that they carry the power of the Holy Ghost and to walk accordingly. “There is a boldness when you understand what you carry, that even when you are faced with adversities, you understand who you are and know what you have,” she urged.

Earlier in the service, Pastor Tobi Enuha shared the Promise of the Week from Genesis 22:17-18, affirming to the congregation that God’s blessings are certain to be fulfilled, as long as they are willing to walk the path that brings the blessings into fruition. She thereafter encouraged them to place their full trust, allegiance, reliance, and obedience in God, reminding them that His faithfulness never fails.

“God is calling us into something deeper,” she declared, “urging us to trust Him beyond what we see or feel. Our obedience is the true reflection of the substance of our faith.”
