@Pastor Mary Fayemi
Preaching on “The Disseminator and Prayer”, Pastor Mary Fayemi emphasised that God, through the Holy Spirit, anoints and commissions believers to preach the Good News. This privilege is not earned through personal merit; rather, through salvation, the Word, and the work of the Holy Spirit, believers are equipped for Kingdom service. She highlighted the importance of prayer in preparing both the messengers and the hearts of those who will receive the Gospel.
She explained that, as disseminators of the Good News, believers are called to reach the meek, the poor, the broken-hearted, and those in bondage, following Christ’s example (Acts 10:38). She encouraged believers to study the Word, maintain fellowship, and support one another in soul-winning.
Through the “Soup, Soap, and Soul” approach, believers are reminded to meet people’s practical needs, demonstrate God’s love, and then share the Gospel. Ultimately, she said, believers are carriers of the Good News, commissioned to proclaim Christ boldly through the Word, prayer, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Earlier in the service, Pastor Femi Megbope, while expounding on the Promise of the Week, assured the congregation that God had promised to make their paths easy. Every mountain would be brought low, every valley filled, every crooked path made straight, and every rough place made smooth. He encouraged believers to step into the week with confidence and divine assurance, trusting God for ease, speed in accomplishing their goals, and good success, in Jesus’ name.
