Pastor Jimmy Odukoya @ Christmas Service

December 25 holds deep significance for Christians around the world as it marks the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a day set aside to reflect on God’s love expressed through the incarnation, Christ coming to earth in human form to bring redemption, hope, and eternal life.
It was, therefore, no surprise that members of The Fountain of Life Church gathered to mark the service with worship, thanksgiving, and an atmosphere of joy.

Ministering at the service, Pastor Jimmy Odukoya, Senior Pastor, emphasised that Jesus’ birth defied human expectations of royalty and grandeur. Though born in humility, without pomp, pageantry, or a physical crown, Jesus was, and remains, the eternal King, full of authority and sovereignty.

The clergy reminded the congregation that Christ should not be perceived as weak because of His humble beginnings. He cautioned against missing one’s day of visitation due to misconceptions about how God chooses to reveal Himself. Drawing from Luke 2:7 and the responses of Herod, Mary, and the wise men, he urged believers to discern divine significance beyond outward appearances and to truly see the King in the baby.
