A Special Worship Session with Pastor Jimmy Odukoya @ Sunday Service
The September 13 Sunday service focused on the themes of divine compensation and spiritual alertness. It was indeed a moment of divine compensation as worshippers experienced the manifestation of their miracles through a special worship session, and prophetic declarations by Pastor Jimmy Odukoya.
During his short exhortation and prophetic declarations in the worship session, Pastor Jimmy encouraged the congregation to trust that God knows their needs even before they ask and will deliver their blessings to them without fail. He emphasised that God’s delivery of blessings is intentional and uniquely tailored to individual’s situation.
He also reminded the congregation that even when a promise seems to be delayed, it will surely come to pass. He therefore urged them to remain steadfast and continue to trust in God.
Pastor Jimmy concluded by highlighting the importance and blessings of helping others, just as God has helped them. He noted that extending help to those in need is not only an expression of love but also an act of service to God.
Encouraging the congregation earlier in the service, with the promise of the week, taken from Isaiah 60:22, Pastor Toluwani Odukoya explained that when God speaks of make them mighty, it is all about His capacity to make them so, and not about their strength. “God’s promise of mightiness is not about your strength but His capacity, it is God who preserves, keeps, and grows,” she said.
She also urged them to trust God for mightiness and not despise their future, because they are made in His image. In her words, “If God has said it, He will do it. God works across generations, so don’t despise days of your humble beginnings, your mightiness is around the corner.”
