TWOG 1920 _ 1080

Pastor Toluwani Odukoya @ Sunday Service
In her message titled, “The Word of God – Seed,” Pastor Toluwani Odukoya, at the October 19 Sunday service emphasised the potency in the word of God and its effect when believers declare it. Speaking from Hebrews 4:12, Jeremiah 2:29, John 6:63, Luke 8:18, and Galatians 6:7, she noted that there is a natural tendency to embrace negative speech over God’s word, reminding her listeners that their reality is based on their confession. “Your tongue writes the scripts, your life performs,” she emphasised.
The clergy quoted Mark 4:6, 2nd Corinthians 9:8, Joshua 1:8, Philippians 2:13, and Isaiah 55:10-11 to note that the word is a healing force, likening it to a seed with inherent life and productive potential, adding that manifestation is impossible without planting the seed, and that everything within God’s kingdom follows a process. She said, “A seed has life within it and has the capacity to produce, but you can’t cheat the sowing and reaping process. If you do not sow the seed, there won’t be any manifestation; the harvest always reveals the seed.”
She explained that negative outcomes stem from the planting of harmful seeds, and likened faith to an atmosphere that enables the seed to grow, and meditation to the act of watering and nurturing the soil, keeping the word active. “Negative words manifest because you took those words that were seeds and you planted them; everything in the kingdom has a process,” she said.
She therefore urged her listeners to recognise their spiritual identity and the power they carry in Christ, affirming that the word of God, when combined with faith, can birth life, miracles, and elevation. “Every word of God moves in a process- promise, patience and proof,” she said.
Pastor Tobi Enuha, earlier in the service, shared the promise for the week from Deuteronomy 28:6, explaining that the verse is a Hebrew expression signifying ongoing blessings. She urged the congregation to respond to God’s prompting, emphasising that obedience to divine instruction leads to testimonies.
