WORDS OF ENCOURGEMENT FROM PASTOR NOMTHI ODUKOYA @ THURSDAY SHOWERS – SEPTEMBER 29 – OCTOBER 5, 2019

Pastor Nomthi Odukoya, at the September 26 Thursday Showers took her scripture reference from Numbers 17:1-8 the Children of Israel rebelled against Moses, envied him and literarily accused him of being “holier and better” than them because he was chosen by God. With this, they were completely turned against him. This was the same Moses God had used to deliver them from their slave master, the Pharaohs of Egypt.

Drawing lessons from the scripture, she declared prophetically; “In a place where there is difficulty, there shall be fruits in Jesus name in that difficult situation. When people are doubting your God, He will put rods and your rod will sprout just like the rod of Aaron in Jesus name.”  She further admonished that wherever one is placed, they should endeavor to honour their leaders knowing fully well that they are all important in God’s eyes, and they all have their different callings. “But when God puts someone in authority over us, we should be careful what we say about them and what we do to them. The leaders have a responsibility towards you. God will punish them if they are not doing what right. You also have a responsibility but whatever you are, when you do what is right, you will still bud (sprout) in your areas of calling in Jesus name,” she said.
