Pastor Taiwo @ Sunday Service
Pastor Taiwo at the December 8 Sunday service said that God directs the steps of His children and this causes them to experience joy, irrespective of their circumstances and situations. This, he said, would come with knowing, believing and standing firm on His promises to them. “Blessed are those who know the joyful sound,” he said.
Speaking from Isaiah 61:1-9, Psalm 89:15 and Leviticus 25, he said that the fulfillment of God’s covenant in the lives of His own comes with the sound of jubilee. This, he said, always marks a new beginning in the people’s lives. “The sound of joy is the confirmation of your liberty in spite of whatever you are going through,” he stated.
He then implored them not to be ignorant of God’s covenant with them so that the devil would not use that as an opportunity to take undue advantage of them. “As a born again child of God, you are in the light of His countenance. Your deliverance is sure once you know that,” he said.

Pastor Taiwo @ Thursday Showers
In continuation of his message on gratitude, Pastor Taiwo at the December 5 Thursday Showers service said that being ungrateful is a worse sin than being revengeful. Citing 1 Thessalonians 5:15 and Psalms 103, he noted that believers need to always consciously appreciate and be grateful to God for and in all things, noting that once the spirit of ingratitude settles in one’s life, complaining is always present with the attendant loss of one’s blessings. “The moment you begin to be unappreciative of what you have, its abuse and loss are imminent,” he said.
The natural man, according to Pastor Taiwo, is ungrateful because he usually feels entitled. This, he said, makes him take things for granted and causes him to complain more than he gives thanks. In his words, “Believers can never be weaklings once they constantly appreciate God’s goodness and give Him thanks.”
He then urged all from Romans 1:2 never to grumble but to always show gratitude to God. “A grateful heart will have a continuous feast. When you complain and grumble, you miss a lot of blessings. So, always be appreciative of who God is and what He does,” he enjoined.
