NOMTHI’S WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT @ SUNDAY SERVICE – NOVEMBER 4 – 10, 2018

NOMTHI’S WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT @ SUNDAY SERVICE

Pastor Nomthi has urged all believers to be in a constant state of preparedness by praising, worshipping and praying in the face of life’s many battles. She said this at the November 4 Sunday service while dwelling on Deuteronomy 28:7, which is the promise for the week.

According to her, rather than waiting for the enemy to strike before taking up these weapons of warfare, believers should always be ready to confront the enemy. “Dancing in praise and raising hands in prayer will always make you too hot for the enemy to handle,” she noted.

She admonished them never to panic because God does not lose any battle. “God does not lose any battle, so there is no need to panic even when it appears the enemies are close by,” she said.

PASTOR NOMTHI’S WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT @THUSRDAY SHOWERS

Pastor Nomthi during the Thursday Showers service of November 1 told the worshippers that they have been created to worship God and to help others. According to her, no matter how challenging their situations might look, they are still supposed to be a blessing to others. “Don’t let your challenges stop you from being that blessing to someone else,” she said.

Using the life of Joseph (recorded in Genesis 40:1-8) as a case in point, she said that believers should not allow any challenge or physical confinement imprison their minds and spirits, just as Joseph did not allow his physical confinement incapacitate his spirit. This, she said, made it easy for him to help both the baker and the butler. “You are supposed to be free spiritually because the Son has made you free,” she stated.
