THE ANOINTING: CAPACITY UNDERUTILIZATION

Pastor Taiwo @ Sunday Service
Having declared May as the month of Supernatural Intervention, Pastor Taiwo at the April 30 Sunday service said that every child of God is anointed for an assignment; however, many do not know this, hence they become distracted by the issues of this world. This, he said, is what often leads to the underutilization of the anointing. “Do not let the devil deceive and distract you; you have to know what you have,” he said.
Speaking from 2 Kings 13:14-21, he said that life is all about fulfilling assignment, and that requires the anointing. According to him, evil cannot thrive when there is the anointing of God on one’s life. “When you are anointed and you know what you are anointed for, then you don’t have any problem,” he stated.
He therefore urged all to rise up and begin to walk in the fullness of the anointing of God on their lives to fulfil their purpose.

THE ANOINTING
Pastor Taiwo @Thursday Showers
God does not just do things, He has it all planned out; that is why He would never send anyone on an assignment without anointing or equipping such for it. These were the words of Pastor Taiwo at the April 27 Thursday Showers service. “He is always precise in what He does, so don’t be afraid of the enemy. Whatever scares others will lead to your own breakthrough,” he said.
Speaking from 2 Kings 13:20-21 and Luke 4:18, he said that the source of the miraculous is God who puts His anointing on a vessel, just as He did Elisha; hence even his dry bones could still raise a dead man. According to him, every child of God has something to contribute because there is no redundancy in God and His anointing on that individual is the empowerment and enablement to accomplish purpose. “The reason you are here is to fulfil a purpose, and the Lord who has called you will give you the grace and empowerment, and anoint you for that purpose,” he stated.
He then urged all to keep their focus on Jesus and not allow the challenges of this life distract them from reaching the capacity God has ordained them to reach. “Keep looking unto Jesus who is the author and finisher of your faith,” he enjoined.

PASTOR NOMTHI’S WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT @SUNDAY SERVICE
Speaking from Colossians 2:10 which is the promise for the week, Pastor Nomthi at the April 30 Sunday service said that there is no power that can subdue or overcome children of God, because they serve the living Jesus who is the head of all principality and power and they are complete in Him. “You are complete in and seated with Him in heavenly places; so you are a winner,” she said.
According to her, this is the reason the world will always marvel at the success and breakthroughs of God’s children even in the face of challenges and trials. “It doesn’t matter how fierce the challenges get, the world will always be surprised at how you survive or pull through,” she stated.
