SUPERNATURAL INTERVENTION (TURNAROUND)

Pastor Taiwo @ Sunday Service
At the June 11 Sunday service, Pastor Taiwo emphasised the character of God as depicted in verse 1 of Psalm 126 which shows that God is in the business of turnings things around. He cited various scriptures that prove this— Luke 4:18; 1 John 3:8; Acts 10:38 and Ephesians 2:4-6.
He urged the congregation not to waste their time in captivity just weeping but to rather sow seeds because God changes things through seeds. He also admonished all to avoid living a life of sin as this is what enslaves and keeps people in bondage, emphasising however that the purpose Jesus came was to destroy captivity or every evil work.
Pastor Taiwo stated that when God intervenes and turns things around, joy always follows. “Count it all joy, even in the thick of trouble; supernatural intervention will provoke even more joy,” he said.

THE GOD OF INCREASE
Pastor Taiwo @ Thursday Showers
Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, speaking on growth in the Kingdom, said that in the Kingdom, things start small and increase. In his words, “It is in the nature for humans to despise little beginnings, but in the Kingdom there is always room for growth, there is room for improvement. If it is God, it must grow. So you have to anticipate increase.”
Dwelling on Mark 4:1-12, 4:26-29, 11:23; Proverbs 24:5, 15:32; 2 Corinthians 10:15, 13:11; Genesis 26:1-14; Psalm 89:24, 92:14; Ephesians 1:17; 1 Thessalonians 3:12; 2 Peter 3 and Luke 2:52, Pastor Taiwo said it did not matter what challenges people were going through, if they believed in the God of the supernatural, the situation would change (in their favour). The Word of God, he said, is the seed, which when spoken into any situation would result in a turnaround. “You may not know how it will grow but dare to speak the Word, and you will see your harvest,” he stated.
Pastor Taiwo further said that growth is a Kingdom principle and a mind-set. “A man cannot produce beyond his mind-set or his convictions. When your convictions change, your expectations will change. The redeemed mind-set puts the redeemed above always,” he said.
