COVENANT OF INCREASE

Pastor Taiwo @ Sunday service
Pastor Taiwo has enjoined all Christians to know their identity and rights in God as this forms the fulcrum for triumphant living. He said this during his sermon at the October 28 Sunday service. “Live conscious of the covenant you are in and you will experience automatic multiplication,” he said.
Speaking from Genesis 17:1-9, Genesis 12:1-10 and Proverbs 11:24, he said that every covenant with GOD produces results in blessing, no matter how late it seems to come. According to him, being in covenant with God means automatic multiplication, just like it happened for Abraham. And the mindset that brings about this multiplication, he noted, does not dwell on the past; it is constantly looking up to God for better things.
He therefore urged them to rather focus on their glorious future, which is guaranteed in the covenant they have with Christ. “God has made you exceedingly fruitful. To fail to increase is a violation of your covenant,” he said.

Covenant Attitude
Pastor Taiwo @ Thursday Showers
Dwelling on the mind of Christ, Pastor Taiwo at the October 25 Thursday Showers elaborated on the effect of the mind on human attitudes. According to him, God’s children have His mind and as such should always reflect His attitude and character as enjoined in 1 Corinthians 2:14-16. “You are the light of the world; you can flood everywhere with your light as a covenant child of God,” he stated.
He noted that though everyone in a covenant relationship with God is entitled to everything that belongs to Him, how much of it they enjoy is determined by their attitude. Speaking from Proverbs 4:23, Romans 12:1-2 and Matthew 14-16, he said that the mind, like a chameleon, conforms to whatever environment and company it is exposed to. “God has given you the freewill and ability to choose, that’s why you have to watch what you do with your mind as a covenant child of God,” he said.
He enjoined all from Romans 12:1-2 to always renew their minds with the Word of God so that they can maximally enjoy His covenant blessings. “The Holy Spirit is there to help once you are ready to renew your mind,” he stated.
