Ruth and Boaz is the working name of a new ministry outreach of The Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju, Lagos, Nigeria. This ministry was conceived because sometime ago, it became apparent to the Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya that there exists in the church in particular and the society at large an ever increasing percentage of executive singles, single parents, divorcees, and widows/widowers.

To this end, the ministry aims at providing support to both genders, meeting their specific needs (spiritual, emotional and physical – where necessary)

The ministry will provide a secure and conducive environment for all members where their views can be freely expressed, problems shared, this giving them a clearer vision of the beauty in their challenges and the opportunities that lie ahead of them and most importantly, one more reason to keep moving on!

In addition, this ministry will provide practical help in forms of individual and group empowerment by the leading of the spirit through the word of God, this enabling them to be self sufficient in every area of their lives.

The ministry will help to a large extent; change the general mindset of the society towards this group of people.

The ministry intends to provide a support network to enable members cope better with daily challenges as it affects their varied/multi faceted needs.

The inaugural fellowship was held on staurday, the 12th of April 2008 at 2 p.m in The Fountain of Life Church premises, Ilupeju.
