Luke 18: 18-27. "Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, "Good Teacher, what  shall I do to inherit eternal life?" So Jesus said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. "You know the commandments: "Do not commit adultery," "Do not murder," "Do not steal," "Do not bear false witness," "Honour your father and your mother." And he said "All these things I have kept from my youth." So when Jesus heard these things, He said to him, "You still lack one thing. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me". But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich. And when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, He said, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God! For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."  And those who heard it said, "Who then can be saved?"

 Now the reason I have said all this is this-- verse 27: But Jesus said "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God."

 I am sure the moment He began to say this, you began to think in your heart, what are the things that are impossible with men or impossible in my life? There are certain things that are in my life that will take God. But then what was Jesus saying? With God nothing is impossible because the things that are impossible with man are possible with God.

God has assured me today, out of this meeting certain impossibilities will be turned around. God will authenticate the fact that He engineered this meeting in the name of Jesus. My prayer amongst these impossibilities is that yours will be one, in the name of Jesus. 

2Kings Chapter 4:1-7 "A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the Prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, "Your  servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves." So Elisha said to her, "What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?" And she said, "Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil". The he said, "Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbours - empty vessels; do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones." So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, "Bring me another vessel." And he said,to her, "There is not  another  vessel." So the oil ceased". Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, "Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons and live on the rest." 

There are situations very similar to ours all through the Bible. Humanity is the same whether in the 1st Century or the 21st Century. How be it they may be differently defined now because of the age, the technology or the Digital Age we live in, but human problems, psychologically are similar.  God has a way of meeting us at the point of our needs even with the kind of exposure that we have.

Here was a widow whose husband, a Prophet died owing money. This woman didn't know what to do, when the creditors came asking for their money so, she ran to the Prophet of God and of course, there was an answer waiting for her.  With God there is an answer waiting for you today. You will not only discover the answers you will appropriate them in Jesus name.

 In the gospel of St Luke the rich young man had everything going for him, had everything he needed, realized that beyond this realm, there is another realm. You can be a Trilloniare in Dollars, in Pounds in this realm but it can't go beyond this realm.  The reality hit him and so he walked up to the master wanting security in the next realm? The Master said, "Very well, you know  the laws, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not commit murder, honour your father and your mother." He said, "Oh I have always kept all these laws from my youth".

Kenneth Copeland said the reason he was that rich was because he had kept the law, because if you hearken to this word of the law, blessings will overtake you, they will catch up with you and overtake you. You will be blessed in the city, you will be blessed in your home, you will be blessed when you go out and you will be blessed when you come in, great will be the increase of your ground, the increase of your body, the increase of your cow. (Deuteronomy 28). So the result were indeed because he kept the law.
 Jesus went on to say , "Will you sell everything you have and distribute it to the poor then come and follow me? I want to promote you, given that you have tried to obey the laws all you can but you see, your motivation is your wealth and your confidence is in your wealth. Can you change that confidence and put it in me? Go sell what you have and come follow me."

 If you look at the account in the book of Mark it says, "And Jesus looked at him and loved him."  It was the expression of that love that made him say, "Go sell what you have and come follow me. It's an unusual invitation to invite you to be one of my disciples." The guy said, "Give up what I have to follow you?"  He turned away never to be remembered again.
 When He met Levi, a rich man, howbeit he got there through crookish means, He said, "Follow Me." The Bible said he left all and followed. We will never forget Matthew.
