Father, Your Word says that all good and perfect gifts come from above – James 1:17, and also, that it is not good for man to be alone – Gen. 2:18, I, therefore confess that I am not going to remain alone for marriage is God’s idea and since all that comes from God is good, I receive my portion in marriage in Jesus name.

I receive my marriage partner in order to receive the honour of marriage for Your Word says, “Marriage is honourable….” (Heb. 13:4). Because it is the will of God concerning me in Christ Jesus (John 6:39), I shall not lose anything that God has intended for me (my partner inclusive) and given to me in Jesus name. Lord, I know my best is yet to come; therefore, I step into the full manifestation of God’s will for my life in Jesus name. For your Word says, “Two are better than one…” (Eccl. 4:9).

Lord, Your Word tells me that none shall lack her mate (Isa. 34:16), and also that no good thing shall He withhold from the upright (Psalm 84:11); I therefore declare that I shall not lack my mate in Jesus name.

Father, I receive a change of status. Lord, I shall be called “married” in Jesus name according to Your Word in Isaiah 62:4 that says, “My land shall be called married.”
I declare that in my tabernacle, the sound’s of rejoicing of marriage shall be heard
concerning me in the mighty name of Jesus for Your Word says, “There shall be the sound of the bride and the sound of the bridegroom”.

I confess that I am going to glorify God in my body and I shall not defile myself and my body which is the temple of God because Your Word says, “My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit” (I Cor. 6:19) and, “….The marriage bed must be kept undefiled”. Therefore Lord, by your grace, I shall “Flee every appearance of evil” (I Thess. 5:22) that might want to lure me into sin during my waiting period in Jesus name.

I shall not be unequally yoked together with an unbeliever (2 Cor. 6:19) in my choice in marriage either out of desperation or the devil’s deceit and I also declare that I shall not lack God’s direction in my choice of a future partner for the Word of God says, “My ears shall hear a word behind me telling me this is the way, walk in it” (Isaiah 30:21). By the help of the Holy Spirit, I will diligently obey God as He speaks to me in Jesus name.
I confess that I receive help from You Lord in developing patience, quietly entrusting my future and my desire to marry to you ( Col. 1:8-12).

Lord, I confess that whoever my marriage partner is, I shall find her (or) he shall find me and we shall only do each other good and not evil all the days of our lives and find favour before God and man on account of our union, for he that finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from God (Prov. 18:22), in Jesus mighty name.

Father, I know that your thoughts towards me are thoughts of peace not evil and to give me an expected end – Jer. 29:11. Therefore, I declare that I shall end well and happily married in Jesus name. I confess that I am long suffering, I am kind, I am not envious, I do not parade myself, I am not puffed up, I do not behave rudely, I do not seek my own, I am not easily provoked, I think no evil, I do not rejoice in iniquity but rejoice in the truth, I bear all things, believe all things, hope all things, and I endure all things. I receive the true love of God that never fails in Jesus name. I confess the same over my marriage partner, whoever he/she is and wherever he/she is in Jesus name (I Cor. 13:4-8).

I confess over myself and my future partner that we possess the fruit of the Spirit by faith which is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control in Jesus name (Gal. 5: 22-23).

The peace of God that transcends all understanding shall continue to be my experience in Jesus name.
