We thank You Lord, for the children that you have given us and the life which is in them, For your Word says that children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward (Psalm 127:3).

Father Lord, Your Word in Jeremiah 1:5 makes us to know that before our children were formed in the womb, You knew them; before they were born, You set them apart and appointed them as prophets to the nations. So we declare in Jesus name, that the children You have given us are for signs and wonders in the world (Isaiah 8:18). Our children shall affect their generation positively. 

We pray and confess Your Word over our children and by Your grace O Lord, Your Word shall be fruitful in their lives, it shall prosper and we surround them with our faith in Your Word that you watch over to perform. Great is Your peace O Lord, because Isaiah 54:13 says that all our children shall be taught by the Lord and great shall be the peace of our children. We pray in the name of Jesus, that wherever our children are, the peace of the Lord that passes all understanding that is beyond human understanding shall overwhelm them, because You Lord shall contend with those who contend with them.

We confess O Lord our Father, that our children shall honour us, their parents, because this is just and right, and it’s the first commandment with a promise, so that it may be well with our children and that they may live long on the surface of the earth (Ephesians 6:1-3).

Father, we thank You, that You have endowed our children, with a willing and teachable spirit, and Your Word says, “Teach the children the way they should go and when they grow up they will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). So we declare that since our children have been taught the way of the Lord, they shall not depart from it. Anywhere they go, anywhere they are, they shall be shinning examples to their friends, they shall not succumb to peer-pressure, and the excellent spirit that was found on Daniel shall be upon them and they shall be ten times more knowledgeable than all their friends and brethren! We bless Your holy name for our children shall be more knowledgeable than their teacher because they are taught of the Lord!

We believe and confess that our children will choose life and love You Lord, they will obey Your voice and cling to You, for You are their life. As we, the parents have decided to serve You, You will bless our children’s bread and water, You will take all manner of sickness away from the midst of them, None of them shall suffer any miscarriage or be barren in the land and You shall fulfill the days of their lives (Exo 23:25).Our children are the head and not the tail, and shall be above only and not beneath (Deuteronomy 28:13). They are blessed when they come in and when they go out (Psalm 121:8).

Thank You Lord, for we know that You are at work in the lives of our children, as You have been from the beginning and You are not yet finished for Your  Word in Ephesians 2:10 says that our children are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for them to do! Therefore, we bless Your Holy Name, for Your Mighty Hand of favour upon them, for we know that as the mountain surrounds Jerusalem, so also Your favour and blessings surround them.

We declare in the name of Jesus, that with long life You will satisfy them and show them Your salvation (Psalm 91:16). Therefore, we will not bury any of our children and we shall not sorrow or experience pain over any of them in Jesus name. They will fulfill destiny and purpose for which they were created. They will live and see their grandchildren and great grandchildren; they shall declare the good works of the Lord, declare the glory of God and serve God all the days of their lives! The glory of God will so cover them that people will look at them and say indeed, these are of the Lord!

Blessed be God our Lord, and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed our children with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3). Therefore, we thank the Lord, and declare that our children shall definitely manifest and be revealed as the sons of God in fulfillment of the expectation of the creation that is eagerly waiting for their manifestation (Romans 8:19)! By the grace of God, we decree that our children are like tree planted by the rivers of water, they shall bring forth their fruits in due season, and their leaves will not wither, and whatever they do shall prosper (Psalm 1:3). We declare in Jesus name that they shall leave their mark in the sands of time!

We thank you Lord that You are a covenant-keeping God, and You said in Your Word in Exodus 34:10 that before all the people, You will do marvels in the lives of our children such has not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation, and all the people among whom our children are, shall see Your wondrous work, for its an awesome thing that You will do in their lives. So all nations shall call them blessed and they shall be a delightful land in the name of Jesus (Mal. 3:12).

Father Lord, Your Word says that You will give Your angels charge over our children to accompany, defend and preserve them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). For You Lord are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2), and You are their glory, the lifter of their heads (Psalm 3:3). Therefore, no harm shall come near them and no evil eyes shall see them, for the blood of the Lord shall avail for them!

O Lord, my God, how excellent, majestic and glorious is your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and unweaned infants You have established strength because of Your foes, that You might silence the enemy and avenger (Psalm 8:1-2). We sing praise to Your Name, O most high. The enemy is turned back from our children in the name of Jesus!

Just as Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favour with God and man (Luke 2:52), so shall our children increase in wisdom, stature and in favour with God and man, in the name of Jesus. Amen!
