Educational Support Programme

PROGRAMME FOR THE YEAR 2005

The following programme of activities will be executed in the three schools in the year 2005:

• Award of Scholarship to the best student in each of the three schools who is admitted and satisfies registration requirements in either a polytechnic or a university.
  
  
• Complete the supply of Mathematics and English Textbooks to SS2 & SS3 Classes with Guidance and Counselling Specialist in the Schools where they are available.
  
  
• Restore Sports and Games in the schools by supplying equipment and coaches; It is planned that the activities will start with Table-tennis, Football and Athletics.
  
  
• HIV/AIDS awareness campaign; a medical and socialogical team has already been put together for this purpose.
  
  
• Anti-Cult and Anti-drugs campaign; the activities will start with the showing of a film titled "The Addict" which is a true life story of a young Nigerian who got involved in drugs and cultism.
  
  
• Supply of books to the Libraries of the three (3) senior secondary schools.
  
  
• Beautification of the frontage of the three schools by painting the walls and planting ornamental trees along the fences. This will begin with the two schools near the oshodi "danfo park".
