The Lord's Kitchen

The Lord's kitchen is the benevolence arm of The Fountain of Life Church with a commission to shower the abundant love of Christ on the less privileged spiritually and physically.

The idea of providing free meals for the homeless and needy members of society came as our church increasingly acknowledged the need to affect our immediate community and do what we preach.

The concept is simple - run a full kitchen to serve physical and spiritual meals to the needy. These people come in to be fed, and they are fed nutritionally balanced meals while specially trained personnel minister to their spiritual needs. Meals are served to as many who are present before the kitchen gets full between 11am and 1p.m and between 5 – 6.30pm. As many that are not able to get in will be given take away packs.

It was estimated that at the completion of the first quarter of 2003 this kitchen ministry would be serving and ministering to about 5000 destitute and homeless as well as hungry people daily.

You can be part of this by praying for the ministry that God would open a great and effectual door for many souls to be reached and brought into his kingdom. You can also partner financially for the provision of foodstuff and items such as plates and cutlery.
