Motive

It is common knowledge that greatness is defined mainly by service. So it becomes very important taht in every society, only natural servants are given a chance to lead because their main motive is to serve.

Those who dream lofty dreams, to lift the people higher, inspire them to accomplish more and thus usher in a better society, exemplify the needed leadership for now and the future.

In practical terms, this kind of leadership demands looking beyond our parochial interests and taking upon oneself teh task of deliberately improving the lots of our people.

As Apostle Paul said "Let nothong be done through selfish ambition or conceit.....Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests ofthers"

Gentlemen, i know that it is natural for us as men to aspire for leadership (public office)

Let us be sure of our motive,and let our pursiuit reflect same.

Nigeria has a great future.
