Mathew 7: 7-12
In searching for an ideal spouse, there are two words we need to consider in detail.

To search for something is to look around for it, presupposing you don’t have it yet, but you want it.

Are you completely satisfied with your spouse and have never ( if your marriage is more than 5 years) in the past five years felt any form of dissatisfaction with your marriage?

If your answer is int he affirmative, that means your wife has done everything you expected her to do; she is a perfect wife, but even Jesus said don’t call me perfect.

The truth is, naturallly our patience gets very, very thin, because your spouse is unable to meet your every need, every time. As a matter of fact I think mistakenly we sometimes assume that our spouses should be able to meet all our needs always.

Ideally this is impossible, but realistically I think it is possible. This may appear strange but it is not. It really depends on how you define your needs and how you want to go about meeting them.

The question arises, are you complete in Christ Jesus? Will you say by your experiences of life that you are complete? I suppose not, but you know that you are complete, so, positively you are right, experientially, you are in a process.

In Mathew &v7, the scripture says ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock, it shall be opened to you, for everyone who asks, receives, and everyone who seeks will find, and to him who knocks, it will be opened. Remember we are searching, so that means that our searching will begin with asking, seeking, and then knocking.

Or what man is there among us that if his son asks for bread he will give him a stone, or if he asks for fish will give him a serpent? The scripture goes on to say that if we then who are evil know how to give good gifts unto our children, how much more will our Father who is in heaven give good gifts unto those who ask him. So whatever you want men to do to you, do unto them, for this is the law and the prophet. click here to continue...>>
