PASTOR NOMTHI’S WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT @THURSDAY SHOWERS
Nothing can be compared to the presence of Jesus; not even robbery or any hurt you’ve been through. These were the encouraging words of Pastor Nomthi Odukoya to the worshippers of the September 21 Thursday Showers service. “It doesn’t matter if the enemy stole from you, let the world take it all but don’t let them take Jesus away from you,” she said.
She used the account of Mephibosheth’s restoration after his encounter with King David as recorded in 2 Samuel 19:24-30 to illustrate that the presence of God is more than the cares of the world just as Mephibosheth chose to be with king David, dining with him, rather than acquiring acres of land.
This attitude of acknowledging the presence of God in a believer’s life, Pastor Nomthi said, would bring about total restoration of lost years just as Mephibosheth was restored. “You cannot lack anything if you are dining with the Lord. Even if you were cheated of your rightful inheritance, being in His presence alone is assurance that He will restore back to you everything you lost and more.
PASTOR NOMTHI’S WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT@SUNDAY SERVICE
Reading from Ecclesiastes 3:14 which is the promise for the week, Pastor Nomthi at the September 24 Family Sunday service emphasised that God doesn’t need anyone’s approval to bless His children. According to her, God’s words over His children cannot come back to Him without fulfilling their purposes. “God doesn’t need any assistance to make His word come to pass in your life. Whatever word He has sent to you won’t go back to Him void. So believe Him.”
She therefore enjoined the congregation to always raise their voices to God with whatever promises God has given them, trusting those words to come to pass in their lives so that God’s

PASTOR NOMTHI’S WORDS OF EXHORTATION@SUNDAY SERVICE
Speaking from Matthew 10:30-31, which is the promise for the week, Pastor Nomthi at the September 17 Sunday service encouraged the congregation never to be afraid of anything because they already have victory in Jesus and it is from that position they should react to anything that confronts them. “The devil has no hold over you, because he does not know the number of your hair strands; only God does. God knows every little detail about you,” she stated. (more…)
Pastor Taiwo @ Sunday Service
September 17 Sunday service was an awesome one as it was the grand finale of the Emerge Leadership (Youth) Conference which started on Friday. In his sermon, Pastor Taiwo told the congregation that they were made in the image of God and created to have dominion over all created things. This, according to him, means that they are unstoppable and therefore should walk in that consciousness. “You are the planting of the Lord, the enemy cannot pluck you out. You are unstoppable,” he said. (more…)

Pastor Taiwo @Sunday Service
God has set before His children an open door which no man can shut. However, if they do not see it through the eye of faith, they will not be able to access it. This was the crux of Pastor Taiwo’s message at the September 10 Sunday service. “God wants you to see His promise for you and claim it because you can only claim what you see,” he said. (more…)

Admonishing the congregation at the September 3 Sunday service from the promise of the week—Psalm 37:23-24, Pastor Nomthi said that God’s primary plan for His children is to always be with them in the journey of life.
This, according to her, is why He directs and orders their steps so as to protect them from falling into the pitfall of life. “He loves you and will order and direct your steps through every twist and turn so that you won’t be a victim in life,” she said.
She then advised them not to worry because God, their Father, is committed to ensuring that no situation overwhelms
